After her Masters thesis defense, Dr. Na Zhai (right) with her professors and

After finishing her PhD study,  Dr. Na Zhai (left), on Professor

Futaesaku’s invitation, co-researched with him on the project of

The Brain Response to Needling Different Acupuncture Points

derived from [H] 2-DG Auto-radiography, 

at Kitasato University in Japan in 1994.

 

 

Upon invitation, Dr. Na Zhai joined many other scientists

in numerous national research projects in China. She spent a lot of

time with professor Zhang Baozhen, a famous national scientist in

histochemistry and electron microscopy.

                     Dr. Na Zhai has studied with many famous professors in the world.

 

 

                              

                              

 

 

 

 

 

                                         

 

                                 In the 1990s, Dr. Na Zhai's scientific research studies were published

                            in the local newspaper Tianjin Daily (right) and in the National Newspaper

                          Health News as well as many professional magazines in China.

 

 

 

                            

 

                         In July 1996, Dr. Na Zhai arrived in New York City as a participant in the

                      Chinese government's cultural and academic outreach program. Every year the

                 Chinese government chooses one outstanding performer in Chinese academics and

                      offers them a chance to go to various nations around the world and exchange

                    ideas with their academic counterparts in those countries.

 

 

                        

 

                  Dr. Na Zhai spent her first three months visiting famous universities and

                   people in the United States,  here she visits the AIDS Institute in New York

                            where Dr. David Ho (right), a world renowned AIDS expert, invented his

                      famous “cocktail” for AIDS patients. 

 

 

                                 

 

                     She learned a great deal about AIDS research

 

 

                              

 

                      In 1998, Dr. Na Zhai joined her brother Dr. Xiaoming Zhai, a Geography

                      professor in Springfield IL. Soon after, she was invited to join

                     the Springfield Clinic group where she had worked

                              in the Neuroscience Institute with Dr. Fortin (second from right).

 

 

 

                             

 

                            Dr. Na Zhai's remarkable clinical work was soon discovered and

                      at many facilities in the United States and Japan
